Since Mom do not want us to buy firecrackers for the new year to come, we decided to prepare for Chinese lanterns instead.

Two days before welcoming the new year’s eve, we tried to lit the two Chinese lanterns which were given to Mom during their alumni gathering.

The above Chinese lantern was no success since it was stocked to the leaves of the Palm oil tree as it flew upwards. The second Chinese lantern was also a failure since it has small cut on it which allowed the smoke from the fire moved out. Hence, it didn’t flew upward.
